    Description

    This original hand cut and mounted silhouette (Not a print) has Carew Rice's stamp on it. There is some light age discoloration on the right side of the card, if framed would be mostly be covered up.  He called this cutting "sic em".  Rice was a famous silhouette artist from Wiggins, SC near
    Walterboro and Beaufort. He passed away in 1971 and Carl Sandburg called him America's Greatest Silhouette Artist.   The silhouette measures 5 1/4 x 3/4 inches and is mounted on a 8 x 5 Inch card. These silhouettes are highly valued by people in the South Carolina Lowcountry.  Shipping includes insurance.
